Timothy Quilty

Timothy "Tim" Quilty passed away at the too young age of fifty-seven, Tim was born in Evergreen Park, IL in August of 1968 to the late Bernard Quilty and the late Margaret "Peggy" Quilty. Evergreen Park was also his lifelong residence. Tim was a union electrician for most of his adult life.

He is survived by his siblings; the late Brian Quilty (Pam), Maggie Olson (the late Ervin). Kevin Quilty (Carol), and Marty Quilty (Mary). He is also survived by seven nephews and nieces: Ervin Olson (Jessica), Patrick Quilty, Colleen Olson, Marie Qulity, Kelly Craney (Mike), Jaden Quilty and Sean Quilty.

While Tim did not marry or have his own children, his life was much more than just a name on the family tree. Tim's life truly mattered to everyone who was the recipient of his overwhelming generosity, his genuine concern for others, his regular calls to each family member, his drive to host large family get togethers, his availability to help with family electrical work, his sense of humor and his ability to provide a home for his family of dogs. Tim never wanted to be recognized for his financial donations, but his family was very aware that he made his hard-earned money available for a variety of charities.

Tim will be greatly missed by his family, neighbors, co-workers and all the people that had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation Saturday, July 25, 2026, 9:30 am at St. Gianna Parish, Evergreen Park followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am.
