In Loving Memory of Thomas J. Reilly, Sr. December 7th, 1943 – November 10th, 2025. With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Thomas J. Reilly Sr., who left this world peacefully on November 10th, 2025, surrounded by love. Born in Chicago to James and Rita (nee Ryan), Tom brought joy to everyone he met.Tom was known for being a proud US Marine, longtime employee of Peoples Gas, and his famous blue eyes. He found happiness in being with his family, especially his grand kids, telling tall tales, and watching anything military related.They leave behind cherished memories and a loving family: His wife of 48 years, Margie (nee Krull), children James (Jacquelyn), Katie, and Thomas Jr (Sarah). He was a loving Papa to his 10 grandchildren: Eileen, Emily,Faith, Grace, Homer, Isaac, Jimmy, Lindsey, Michael, and Tommy. Big brother to Laurie (late Dennis) Mullane. Beloved Uncle, great-uncle, and Cousin Tommy Joe to too many to count! Tom now joins his sister Maureen (late William) Smith in eternal peace. Interment will be privately held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing that Tom’s love and light will live on in all of us.
