Steven J. Lanovich, "Hawk," 68, lifelong resident of Evergreen Park, Illinois. Cherished father of Jillian (Ryan) Hassan and Michael (Cheyenne) Lanovich. Dear son of the late Steve and Anne Lanovich. Loving brother of Annette Lanovich (Mike Kazlauskas), Janet (Craig) Bagdon, and the late Kenneth Lanovich. Devoted Poppa-Ratso of Lyla, Ellie, Emerson and Ruby. Fond Uncle of Melissa and Craig, and many more. Steve was a US Air Force Veteran serving as a SSgt during the Vietnam War. He was an electrical engineer for many years, and lover of his family, friends, freedom, fireworks, and fun. Memorial Gathering Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5 pm to 9 pm at Kosary Funeral Home 9837 S. Kedzie Ave, Evergreen Park, IL.

Interment Friday, March 1, 2019;  9:00 am at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL.
