Peggy Scolan

Peggy Scolan nee Hofer, age 63; passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday August 4, 2021; devoted wife of Timothy Scolan; loving stepmother of Michelle (Patrick) Walsh and Paul Scolan; proud step grandmother of Jennifer, Nicole, Laura, Matt, and Sara; cherished sister-in-law of Susan (Ken) Shinkus, and Thomas (Terry) Scolan; survived by her brother Nicholas (Lee) Hofer; dear Aunt of Jordan Hofer and Amy (Jason) Johnson; great Aunt of Sofia, Lily, Sam and Logan. Dedicated teacher (also known as Mrs. Lewis) for 35 years at the Morgan Park Academy in Chicago, IL. Peggy’s greatest joys were teaching her current and prior students at the Morgan Park Academy and being an active member at Queen of Martyrs Church, Evergreen Park, IL. Donations to cancer research in Peggy’s memory would be deeply appreciated. Per Peggy’s request, the services were private.
