Nadine Lynch, a dedicated registered nurse who served her community for over 45 years, passed away on December 14, 2025. Born Nadine Philbin, she was known for her unwavering commitment to caring for others, a trait that defined her personal and professional life.
Throughout her extensive nursing career, Nadine touched the lives of countless patients and their families, offering compassion and expertise in equal measure. Her dedication to her vocation was matched only by her love for her family. Nadine cherished the time spent with her loved ones, often finding joy in outdoor activities like beach outings and nature walks.
She is survived by her sister Kathleen (William) Stone. Nadine was a proud mother to her children: John Lynch, Laura (Steven) Stewart, Michael (Christie) Lynch, Kathleen (Joshua) Hale, Patrick Lynch, and Meghan (Michael) Lew. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Israel) Reyes, Cole (Brooke) Villazon, Hannah (Hunter) Pendley, Benjamin Villazon, Joseph (Emma) Lynch, Tyler Lynch, Kyle Hale, Sydney Hale, Brooke Hale, Hallie Hale, Hunter Hale, Connor Johns, Landon Johns, Michael Lew, and Abigail Lew. Nadine was also a devoted great-grandmother to Liana Reyes, Gia Rose Lynch, and Aubriella Grayce Lynch, with the anticipation of welcoming Cole and Brooke's first child in the coming spring. Nadine was also loved by many cousins and nephews.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jane (nee Molloy) Philbin.
A memorial gathering will be held on February 14, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Kosary Funeral Home, located at 9837 South Kedzie Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Funeral service 10:00 AM; Inurnment at St. Mary Cemetery.
Nadine Lynch's remarkable life was characterized by her nurturing spirit, unwavering dedication, and love for her family and profession. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
