Kenneth Katschke

Kenneth H. Katschke, age 98 passed away peacefully at his home on July 3, 2019. Loving husband of the late Dorothy (nee Christopher). Loving father of Kenneth (Rosemary) Katschke, Barbara (Ronald) Johnson, Janet (Dennis) Hansen, June (Peter) Graffy. Loving grandfather of Kenneth, Todd, Scott, Katy, Eric, Christine, Kimberly, Jennifer, Jon, Paul, Alyssa. Loving Great grandfather of Jensen, Zaddock, Sage, Declan, Eve, Bryn, Seneca, Levi, Hawk, Evelyn, Priya, Freyja, Joseph, Thomas, Kelsey, Nathan, Trevor, Sara. Great great grandfather of Jackson and Emma. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ken was a WWII P-38 Fighter Pilot who flew 50 missions over enemy territory. He retired from the service as a Captain. Ken was an active and well known home builder. He was well known in the building industry for building a house on a barge. In 1953 Ken built his home in Evergreen Park and resided there for over 65 years. He was a loving husband and very devoted to his family.
Visitation Thursday July 11th from 3:00-8:00 PM at Kosary Funeral Home 9837 S. Kedzie, Evergreen Park. IL 60805. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home Friday July 12th 9:30 AM for prayers and then procession to St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9343 S. Francisco, Evergreen Park, IL 60805 for the 10:30 AM Mass of Christian burial. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park IL.
