Julia Palombo

Julia Palombo, a beloved member of her community and a dedicated file clerk for an insurance company, passed away peacefully in Chicago on June 23, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on December 9, 1935, in Chicago, Julia's life was marked by her unwavering kindness and commitment to her family.

Julia was the loving sister of the late Mary (late Reno) Panozzo, Marcella (late Morris) Rizzitiello, Pauline Jean Palombo, the late Theresa Palombo, and Michael (Felicia) Palombo. Her legacy lives on through her cherished nieces and nephews, who always held a special place in her heart. Julia was a dear aunt to Morris (Sandy) Rizzitiello, James (Kathleen) Rizzitiello, and Annette (Glenn) McLeish. She was also a proud great aunt to Chrissy (Sam) McLeish-Dado, Nicky McLeish, Michael Rizzitiello, and Felica Rizzitiello.

Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life during the visitation services held at Kosary Funeral Home, located at 9837 South Kedzie Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL, on June 30, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Prayer Service will be held July 1st (Time to be Announced) at the Funeral Home. Julia's warm spirit and loving nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
