Joseph A. Punda

Joseph A. Punda, affectionately known as "Joey," was born on December 7, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois. He dedicated his life to his profession as a Sheet Metal Worker, where he exemplified hard work and commitment throughout his career with Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 73.

Joseph passed away on September 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was the beloved life partner of Susan Pawlak (nee Kremnitzer) and the loving father to Matthew and the late Joseph Jr. His family greatly cherished him as a devoted son of the late Louis A. Punda and the late Catherine (nee Cahalane) Punda.

Joseph was a cherished brother to Edward, Maria, and the late James. He took great pride in his role as a grandfather to his precious grandchildren, Madelyn and Rylan. Joseph was also a fond uncle to many nieces and nephews, and his caring nature endeared him to countless friends who considered him a trusted companion.

The visitation for Joseph A. Punda will be held on September 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kosary Funeral Home, located at 9837 South Kedzie Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. A funeral service will follow the same day, commencing at 6:00 PM.

Joseph's warm spirit and kind heart will be remembered by all who knew him. His impact on family and friends will surely endure, a true testament to a life well lived. He will be deeply missed.
