John Spanos age 80; beloved husband of Barbara nee Catania; loving father of Elizabeth Spanos, Christina (Michael) Rice and Ali (Tom) Green; doting Grandfather of Audrey, Valerie, Melissa, Lydia, Amanda, Matthew, Nicholas, Miranda, Nicole and Great Grandfather of four; fond brother of Theodore Spanos; preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. John was a proud Marine and an avid fisherman who taught children to fish through the Illinois Department of Conservation.
