Helen Drazenovic

Helen Drazenovic, aged 78, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, in Chicago, IL. Born on May 11, 1947, in Germany, she touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Helen was a beloved wife to John Drazenovic and a dedicated mother to John Peter (Suzy) Drazenovic. As a proud grandmother, she cherished the time spent with Andrew and Rachel Drazenovic, offering them love and guidance.

She is also survived by her siblings, Ed Dermont (Maria), Eilisha Dermont (Phillip), Susan Kallie (Matthew), and Linda Ellison (Steve), along with numerous nieces and nephews, who will remember her for her kindness and nurturing spirit.

Visitation will be held on February 16, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Kosary Funeral Home, located at 9837 South Kedzie Avenue, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on February 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at St. Gianna Parish, at 10233 S Central Park Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Prior to the Mass, prayers will be held at Kosary Funeral Home at 10:15 AM.

Helen Drazenovic's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warmth, compassion, and spirit will be celebrated and long remembered.
