Harley Borders

Harley R. Borders age 91; from Chicago, Illinois; peacefully passed away on October 10, 2018; beloved husband of the late Evelyn M. nee Czajka; loving father of Harley (Sharon), Steven (Dorothy), Michael (Lorrie), Joyce, Carol (Thomas Novak) Borders, Joanne Baity, Pamela (Stanley) Buskus and Nancy (John) McKenna; dearest grandfather of sixteen; Elizabeth,  Geoffrey, Timothy, Steven, Tara, Andrew, Jason, Jacob, Rebecca, Meloney, Bradley, Nicole, Eric, Stephanie, Jennifer and Sean; great grandfather of eight; Harley was in the Air Force from 1945 – 1947 stationed in Guam, worked at AT&T for 43 years in management positions, retired to Arizona for 28 years where he was an active member of Polish American Club and also volunteered delivering meals on wheels. Harley was well liked and had many friends, both young and old. He is dearly missed. Memorial Mass 9:30 am Friday October 19, 2018; at Queen of Martyrs Church 10233 S. Central Park, Evergreen Park.
