Edward A. Marks

Edward was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward and Lillian (née Jutzi) Marks; his cherished wife, Eleanor (née Fuerst) Marks; and his lifelong friend, Richard Maul.

He is survived by his devoted sons, Scott (Janet) Marks and Craig (Donna) Marks, and his sister, Jeanne (née Marks) McDonald. He was the proud and beloved "Pa" to his five grandchildren: Jessica (Daniel) Kaapke, Kurt (Dana) Marks, Elyse (Sean) Acker, Nichole Castillo, and Connor Marks. He was also the adoring great-grandfather to his five great-grandchildren: Elena Kaapke, Jake Acker, Madison Acker, Brooke Acker, and Hunter Marks.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Kosary Funeral Home, 9837 S. Kedzie Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.

Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM at Kosary Funeral Home, with Reverend Kirk Moore officiating. Interment will take place at Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, 2900 W. 111th St., Chicago, IL 60655.
