David Eggert

On Friday February 18, 2022 David Eggert passed away at the age of 66; survived by his devoted wife Kelly; David was born in Chicago on September 25, 1955 to the late Fredrick and Theresa Eggert; father of Derek and the late Darcy; grandfather of Payton, Taylor, Kayla, Connor, Andrew, and Austin; loving brother of the late Eric, Karen (Jeff Ordway), Patrick (Theresa) Eggert, Mark (Kathleen) Eggert, Lisa (Keith) Spetz, Karl (Cheryl) Eggert; survived by many nieces, nephews great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends (too many to count); constant companion to his beloved dog Lucy. David loved his sports, Hawks, Cubs, Bears, and Sox. No matter what team was on, all were welcome. David was always willing to give anyone a helping hand. He touched so many people in so many ways. He was also known as Mr. Dave on his block, always ready to hand out a freeze pop to any kids at the park. He will be missed by all every day.
