Christine Marie Klawitter

Christine “Ma” Klawitter, age 68, passed away on February 4, 2026.

Born on April 28, 1957, Christine lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and a positive outlook. She was the beloved wife of Mark Klawitter and a devoted mother to Sarah Klawitter, as well as a loving dog mom to Zeus. She was a cherished sister to James Maday, and a loving sister-in-law and aunt to Donna, Rachel, and Brian.

Christine was known for her incredibly caring and warm heart. She had a special way of making people feel welcome, loved, and at ease, and her kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Christine especially loved Christmas—her favorite holiday—and St. Patrick’s Day, her second favorite. The sound of the bagpipers during St. Patrick’s Day celebrations always made her smile. She took great joy in collecting vintage Christmas items, antiques, and collectibles. She loved participating in and attending flea markets, where she formed countless friendships over the years. Proudly involved in the Glow Christmas Club, her festive spirit truly shined. She also enjoyed beer shows, festivals, fairs, concerts, and outings, always cherishing time spent with family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Kosary Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow, with interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

Christine will be remembered for her loving heart, joyful spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of tho
