Bruno Gustav Nilsson

Bruno Gustav Nilsson, 94, beloved husband of Britt Nilsson (Aronsson) happily married for 68 years; loving father of the late Kenneth (Rebecca) Nilsson, John (Diane) Nilsson, Susan (David) Nilsson Kroll, and Eric (Sandra) Nilsson; cherished Farfar och Morfar to 12 grandchildren and memorable great grandfather to 20+ great grandchildren, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday April 19, 2022.  He left this world surrounded by his loving wife and children. Bruno was born to Kristina Hedin and Nils Nilsson on August 21, 1927. He was one of five siblings (Gunnar, Margaret, Rune, Nora, and Lily).

He was an expert carpenter with Chicago Local 62/272 for 60+ years; loyal neighbor to his 107th St crew; proud boater and member of the Calumet Yacht Club, strong Swede and member of Vasa Order of America Bessemer Lodge, who will be missed worldwide by all who knew him.
