Arthur C. Hornburg, Jr.

Arthur C. Hornburg Jr., 88, loving husband of Terry Hornburg (Kleeman) married for 39 years; married to the late Carol Jean Brown; father of Wendy, Karen, Beth, Natalie, and Emily; grandfather to Kelli, Jamie, Ashlie, Aubree, Hailee, Elysa, Autumn, Andrew, Elise, and Patrick; great-grandfather of 12; and uncle to one niece and five nephews, passed away early on Saturday April 1, 2023. Art was born to Arthur C Hornburg Sr. and Helen Brand on June 6, 1934. He was one of two siblings (Nita and Janice).

Art was a highly respected funeral director taking after his father and grandfather and owned the Hornburg-Klein Funeral home in Evergreen Park and retired in 2008 at the age of 75. He was on the board of directors for many organizations including the Illinois Funeral Directors Association (IFDA), American Cancer Society, Evergreen Park Chamber of Commerce, and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Oak Lawn and many others. He loved bowling, fishing, and baseball. His life touched the lives of many others and will be missed greatly.
