Amy McDonagh

Amy Patricia McDonagh nee Baio 40, of Lowell, Indiana, died suddenly May 30, 2022.  She is

survived by her two sons, Paddy and Aidan, parents Tina (Mann) and Tony Franciskovich and her brother Tony Mann (Mary McGrath).  She was welcomed to Heaven by her brother, Christopher Franciskovich, Tom Baio and her grandfather, Cressent Mann.

A proud mother to two beautiful boys and student advocate was Amy’s life’s mission.  Dedicating her life to education, Amy recently earned her PhD. in educational leadership and used her knowledge and expertise to advocate for her students, many of whom were underprivileged.  She was a proud activist for equity at Distinctive Schools and made it a priority to build lifelong relationships so she could follow her students’ successes, many of whom referred to her as their favorite teacher.
