Posted by: Marion Warner and Kathy Bishop Tue July 29, 2014 | We wish we could be there for you Joanie. We loved you so much and missed you every day. Healthwise it isn't possible for Mom to come up. I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I know she knows how much we all loved her. We are family, but her other family members need to know how sorry we are that we lost her. Sis and Kathy

I wish I could be there tonight for a "proper" goodbye however it is just not possible. Tell Jim "hi" from me. The Moose has now suffered a double loss with out you both here. Make the Moose Home in heaven a great place!

Posted by: Michael A. Rice Thu July 31, 2014 | Joanie, I think back to the time you taught me how to Polka at "The Idle Hour" when nobody else could get me to dance, all the family gatherings, and the fun we had together! RIP Joanie, you will be missed tremendously! |
Posted by: Diane Mosley Thu July 31, 2014 | I'll never forget the time that Joan and Fran Rice were hiding under cabin 22 and Cindy and I and a bunch of other kids were trying to find them. How they fit under that cabin I still don't know. So much fun Joan was. Remember that snicker. She and Jim were always so willing to share their gifts - -always. Think of all those years they hauled that ski boat up North and endlessly pulled kids on skis. Stumpy and Joan will be missed but I know they are both home now and together (and dancing an Irish jig with Chuck and Joan Noetzel and all the crew that has gone before us from Idle Hour - - Charlie with his Manhattan and Joan with her Pepsi). I love you Joan! |
