Dear Thiess Family,
I am so very sorry for your deep loss. Hans was always very kind to me. He showed me how to live as a humble, genuine and grateful servant of God. I always looked forward to him leading the holiday prayers at Michael and Rosina’s house. I will especially remember how he made me feel when he gave his last holiday prayer, even though he was very ill at the time. I may not remember his exact words, but I walked away feeling inspired and thought that it was truly one of his best. I remember him lightly touching on current events, showing great sincerity and humility (as always), adding just a small touch of humor to uplift our spirits, and emphasizing to always live through Jesus Christ. He was steadfast in his faith, a loving husband to Mrs. Rosina, a caring father and grandfather, a genuine friend and true inspiration to us all. We will all miss you Hans.

Dearest Rosina, Michael Sr. And Michael Jr,

My heart breaks for you as you lay to rest your father, father-in-law and grandfather. The comfort is knowing he is now with his Father in Heaven where all Christians want to be. God bless his wife, and the rest of his family that is still here on earth. May they all be comforted by God’s loving hand.
Lisa

Dear Rosina and family,
Hans was such a humble and sweet man but who fiercely loved Jesus. He was an example of Jesus that we don't see often. He will be so missed at church...I always enjoyed talking with him. You will all be in my prayers.
