May you find peace in your time of loss. My children and I remember Mrs. Barnes fondly as a great teacher at Independence Jr. High. Sincerely, Carolyn Trezzo-Miserendino

I am deeply saddened at the passing of one of the many "super educators" that it was my pleasure to serve over 40 long years. Mrs. Barnes was one that taught in outstanding fashion far more students than might even be counted. She will be missed by many.

Without question the finest educator I ever encountered, and a wonderful, strong, caring person. I was part of her class at Indian Hill in 1975- we have been sharing stories of her today. I hope the fact that she is still in our hearts 42 years later is some indication of what a great woman she was.
