Dear Susie and Family,

The world has lost a wonderful man. We have fond memories of all the fun times spent together over the years. Exciting races, fatherly advise and guidance will always be a part of our lives. We extend to you our sympathy and heartfelt condolences.

What a nice, nice, nice man! When I called at Balmoral Park & Maywood Park, he would constantly pull me aside and we'd talk, and talk, and talk. Not a mean bone in his body, and he often had so many nice things to say to me - - for which I will forever be grateful!
REST IN PEACE Mr. Maurello - - you were one of a kind and will forever be missed!

My heartfelt sympathy to Tony's Family. Tony was small in stature but he was as grand a man that I have ever met. He was always courteous, benevolent and pleasantly kind. It was this graciousness that would fill the room when he walked into it. He depicted generousity, class and compassion. Be assured that the heavens have greeted him with arms wide open. God's speed my friend.

As a supporter of harness racing, fan of Sportsman's Park, and Super Night advocate, Tony was one of a kind. The $2 bills he gave out and sharp, formal dress at many a racing event will long be remembered. Our sympathy goes out to Tony's family and friends. May he rest in peace.
